Flowmind takes Audience Choice at TiE Oregon's Westside Pitch 2026
PORTLAND, OR — May 28, 2026 — Flowmind, an AI-powered task management app built for adults with ADHD, won the Audience Choice award at the 5th Annual TiE Oregon Westside Pitch competition, held April 23 at Hidden Creek Community Center in Hillsboro, Oregon. The $500 prize recognized Flowmind as the crowd favorite among six finalists pitching to approximately 100 attendees.
Flowmind is designed to act as a "second brain" for users whose ADHD disrupts the executive function skills required to remember, prioritize, and act on daily tasks. Founder Madeleine Parmenter built the app to reduce what she describes as the financial and emotional "ADHD tax" that many individuals carry.
Westside Pitch is an annual competition hosted in partnership with TiE Oregon, targeting early-stage companies that live or operate in Washington County, Oregon. Over its prior four years, the competition awarded approximately $150,000 to more than 15 local companies, alongside mentorship and regional visibility. The 2026 finalist field included companies working in healthcare, AI, neuroscience, and workplace safety.
Parmenter said the Audience Choice win reflects the broad, immediate recognition that people have for the problem Flowmind solves, and that the competition gave Flowmind meaningful exposure to investors and mentors in the regional ecosystem. Flowmind is also a TiE XL Bootcamp alum.
